Bird Watching in Iran-North

Day 1: Arrive in IKA international airport of Tehran, transfer to Tehran city, and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: After breakfast drive towards the city of Behshar, visiting Behshar central town and the wildlife refuge of Naz where the habitat of Persian Fallow Deer.

Day 3: One full-day birdwatching at Miankaleh Wildlife Sanctuary, return back to the city of Behshar, rest and sleep overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Drive towards the city of Gorgon in Golestan province, birdwatching at Golestan Lake and the farmlands, rest and sleep overnight at the traditional guesthouse.

Day 5: One full day visiting Golestan National Park (birdwatching & wildlife walking safari), the possibility of seeing Eastern Orphean Warbler, Red Headed Bunting and more……, transfer to accommodation, rest and sleep overnight at the traditional guesthouse.

Day 6: In the morning leave National park to visit khosh yeylagh protected area then transfer to city of Shahrud, rest and sleep overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: After breakfast drive towards Turan National park to visit and explore the protected area, in the evening arrive at the traditional guesthouse for rest and overnight sleep.

Day 8: One full day in Turan National Park for bird watching and trekking (Pleske’s Ground Jay the only endemic bird of Iran), the possibility of seeing Scrub Warbler, Isabelline Shrike, Turkestan Shrike and more ……, return to the traditional guesthouse for rest and overnight sleep.

Day 9: Leave guesthouse in the morning towards city of Semnan, arrive at Parvar protected area for birdwatching and hiking, rest and overnight sleep at the hotel.

Day 10: One full day visiting Parvar protected area, the possibility of seeing Bimaculated Lark, White-Throated Robin and more……, return back to the hotel for rest and overnight sleep.

Day 11: After breakfast leave the hotel towards Tehran arrives in the Capital at about afternoon time.
